Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Hampshire Cricket stand against discrimination in all its forms and are committed to ensuring that cricket is a game for everyone.

Our EDI Action Plans

Hampshire Cricket have signed up to deliver material change across the 12 key objectives identified within "Cricket is a Game for Me" the ECB's EDI Action Plan. Alongside this gamewide plan, the Hampshire Cricket Board, who are responsible for recreational cricket across the County have developed a local plan to deliver "a cricketing future for all" within the recreational game.

Our Progress So Far

Over the past 12-months we have delivered transformational change across a number of our key action areas. In 2022, Hampshire Cricket was recognised, at the Business of Cricket Awards, for delivering the sport's most impactful Community Engagement Project for our work making our performance pathway more accessible through the Hawks Academy Programme.

While we recognise more must be done to make cricket truly inclusive, you can read about the progress we have made in the report below.
